Games Library Launch for International Games Week 2023
For International Games Week 2023, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster Libraries and Archives will be launching a collection of loanable Tabletop games, plus there will be week of events and activities offering free food and games.
Tabletop gaming is a fun and sociable way to spend time with family and friends and can help young people and adults to develop social skills, collaboration, creative thinking, strategic thinking and more. Participants will find a wide range of games aimed at adults and young people available to play in the library or to borrow to play at home. Library members can borrow games free of charge for up to three weeks available at Kensington Central Library and Pimlico Library.
If you have a game that you love, come to one of our International Games Week Launch events and share a game. If you are new to board games and want to learn how to play, or you want to meet fellow board game enthusiasts, come along.
If you would like to bring a group along to any of these events, or you would like us to deliver a session at your site or as part of one of your existing clubs, please do get in touch.

Celebrate the launch of our games lending library. Whether it’s Nintendo, board games or table top RPGs, you will find something to get involved with and have fun! Adults, teens, and children aged 11+ all welcome. Snacks and refreshments included.

Love board games? Come and browse Pimlico’s brand-new games lending library. There will be tabletop favourites like D&D, Ticket to Ride and Catan to try, as well as snacks and

Board Games Club - Special Edition
Paddington Children’s Library, Saturday 11 November, 2-4pm
Play some new board games, share some snacks. There will be a whole range of games to try, you can even have a go at slaying a dragon or two. For ages 7-16 Games and Pizza North Kensington Library, Monday 13 November, 5-6.30pm To celebrate International Games Week, we are hosting a board games and pizza night at North Kensington Library. Come along and join in the fun- Cluedo, Scrabble, chess and more. For adults, teens, and children aged 12+ Current regular gaming events at the library · Indoor Games Session at Pimlico Children's Library, Saturdays 2pm-4pm · Games Night at Chelsea Library, Tuesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster Libraries and Archives will be increasing the number of regular events and games following international games week.
