And the GOLD STAR goes to...GATEWAY!

STARS is TfL's accreditation scheme for London schools and nurseries. STARS inspires young Londoners to travel to school sustainably, actively, responsibly and safely by championing walking, scooting and cycling.

STARS supports pupils' well-being, helps to reduce congestion at the school gates and improve road safety and air quality. This award is presented to gold STARS schools where safe, sustainable travel has grown to be an integral part of their culture.

Earlier this term, Gateway’s work in this area was recognised when we were awarded gold STAR accreditation.  All the children and staff deserve credit for this achievement. In particular, I would like to thank Ms McTaggart for all of her hard work in getting ready for the award. Well done.
